Ipsism takes a position in opposition to any FEDERAL bill / act controlling abortion.
Ipsism takes a position in opposition to abortion.
Ipsism takes the position that abortion is wrong at any stage of fetal development, other than for non-viable gestations (e.g. ectopic pregnancies[ fetal demise) and severe fetal malformations (e.g., anencephaly, hydrocephalus and other deformities where neonatal survival is virtually impossible).
While Ipsism is not opposed to the substance of the bill, Ipsism is opposed to Congress stepping in and attempting to codify Roe in either support or opposition.
Ipsism takes the position that the Supreme Court's decision in Dobbs was correct. The Constitution does not address abortion; therefore the Tenth Amendment reserves the question of abortion to the states. Ipsism would NOT support Federal legislation promoting nor banning abortion.
Ipsism is of the opinion that Senator Graham is grandstanding for his own political purposes which will ultimately have adverse consequences for conservatives.
Consequently, Ipsism is urging all Senators to NOT co-sponsor nor support Senator Graham's proposed legislation.
